Donate to BEST

BEST exists to support some of the most vulnerable and isolated men in HMP Wandsworth. Support for these men is insufficient – many Foreign National Offenders (FNOs) are unable to have visits from family or friends.  Chaplains and other organisations do what they can to support foreign prisoners but the need for FNO-focused organisations that really understand, and are capable of dealing with, the practical aspects of FNO issues and their anxieties is evidenced by the constantly increasing demand for BEST’s services. BEST currently has no paid members of staff, and all our services are run by volunteers.

We are urgently seeking funding. We currently operate on a very limited basis, and are unable to meet demand with our existing capacity. More funds would enable us to increase the capacity of our in-prison team, reach a greater number of prisoners and improve the quality of our service.

Please support us by making a donation. We are entirely funded by voluntary donations and without this generous support we would not be able to continue our work. Any support you can give to BEST will be very much appreciated and fully utilised.

Thank you for the work that YOU and BEST do… it’s so important and adds a richness and hope to the very difficult life of foreign nationals living within this environment. I wish you all the very best for the future, and that you go from strength to strength
